Sir
Isaac Newton ,in 1666, showed that white light was composed of colored light.
To show this he passed a beam of white light through a glass prism. This dispersed
the light into the spectum of colors. This is the same principle as to how
rainbows are formed after it rains. Color only exists in the human eye and
the brain through color absorption and reflection. All color occupy a certain
wavelength and this is what is reacting with your brain in order to make a
color. There are many more colors in the spectrum than we can can see by the
human eye.f you put all the colors in the spectrum together you will make
white light. White is made when all the colors are added together. All the
colors are reflected back to you in order to see white. This is called additive
color. In additive colors three colors are able to make up every other color
in the color spectrum. The three primary colors are red, yellow, and blue.
By mixing these colors all other colors can be made
