Identity Design

Question:
Can you translate and depict into a graphical representation only the element necessary to identify the image with clarity and conviction.

Objective:
Select element(s) and/or letterform(s) into the ideal representation of you by experimenting with various illustration techniques, typefaces, forms, line weights, figure-ground ambiguity and contrast. Remember the concept of strategic ambiguity is not only to simplify the image, but to also allow an identity to relate to multiple possibilities, hopefully all of them positive.

Project
Recognition is what every company or organization wants. You, the designer are to develop a highly recognizable representation of yourself – something that encapsulates everything you want to.

Production:
Create two of the three Identity Designs:

Logotype- a identity that features a word or multiple letter

Logo – a nonverbal iconographic identity

Mix – incorporates either word or multiple letters with an icon or illustration embedded within the letterform.
